For all production and advancing questions including Audio, Lighting, Backline, Hospitality, and Guest Lists, please use the following contacts:
If you are playing on the Rooster, Star, or Towers of Gold stage, please contact Sheri Sternberg at sheri@mercenaryproductions.com or 1-415-285-6521.
If you are playing on the Banjo, Arrow, or Porch stage, please contact Ryan Smith at ryan@mercenaryproductions.com or 1-415-285-6521.
Transport / Hotels � If it is stated in your contract that we are providing any kind of transport or lodging, please contact Bonnie Simmons as soon as possible to make arrangements. She can be reached at 1-510-654-4720 or bon@bonzilla.com. Please make sure to tell Bonnie if you are carrying any oversized items - DRUMS, KEYBOARDS, UPRIGHT BASS etc. or are carrying a great many items with you. This year there is a huge convention taking place in San Francisco the same weekend as Hardly Strictly Bluegrass so it is imperative that you contact Bonnie by September 1st at the very latest re any sort of transport or lodging concerns. If you are flying in and will be using our ground transport we will need full flight itineraries so that she can coordinate this.
Parking � Please note that on-site parking is extremely limited. If you plan on driving your own vehicle to the festival please indicate that on your Band Personnel List. We have 1 parking pass allotted per band, let us know as soon as possible if you anticipate needing more. Click here for directions to the festival.

While some of you may be traveling with gear, we prefer to provide backline whenever possible as set change time is limited to maximize the artist set times.

From East of San Francisco
> Take 80 W to Bay Bridge
> Take 9th St. Exit
> Veer left at stop light to get on Harrison St.
> Turn right on 9th St.
> Stay straight on 9th St. across Market St. as 9th becomes Larkin St.
> Stay on Larkin until Geary Blvd
> Turn Left on Geary Blvd
> Stay on Geary for several miles until you reach 25th Ave.
> Make a left on 25th Ave. & follow for about 5 blocks across Fulton St. into Golden Gate Park
> Make your first right onto Transverse Dr. it comes up quickly and is not marked well but it is your first right.
> Follow Transverse Dr. one block to where it intersects w/ JFK Blvd. This is the main entrance to the festival where you will be greeted by a parking coordinator.
From South of San Francisco
> Take 101 North towards San Francisco
> Merge onto I-380 W toward I-280/San Bruno
> Merge onto I-280 N toward San Francisco
> Take CA-1 North toward 19th Ave/Golden Gate Bridge
> Once you pass Lincoln Blvd, merge left onto Crossover Dr.
> Make your first left onto Transverse Dr. it comes up quickly.
> Follow Transverse Dr. one block to where it intersects w/ JFK Blvd. This is the main entrance to the festival where you will be greeted by a parking coordinator.
From North of San Francisco
> Take 101 South to the Golden Gate Bridge
> Immediately after the toll plaza, merge to the far right lane to exit onto the 19th Ave/Hwy 1/Golden Gate Park off ramp
> Continue South on Hwy 1/Park Presidio Blvd until Geary Blvd.
> Make a right on Geary Blvd and follow until 25th Ave.
> Make a left on 25th Ave. & follow for appx. 5 blocks across Fulton St, into Golden Gate Park
> Make your first right onto Transverse Dr. It comes up quickly and is not marked well but it is your first right.
> Follow Transverse Dr. one block to where it intersects w/ JFK Dr. This is the main entrance to the festival where you will be greeted by a parking coordinator.
Settlement � All final payments are made by your stage manager on the day of show via company check and are subject to California State Withholding. For your convenience we have a blank W9 you can download here. Please fill it out and send it back to hsbprod@mercenaryproductions.com.

Recording � Please note that the Producer of the festival makes an audio and video recording for his archival purposes only . These recordings are not used for commercial purposes under any circumstances. If you do not want your performance recorded, please let Sheri Sternberg or Ryan Smith know so they can make proper arrangements.
Artist & Crew Party � We continue to celebrate the spirit of the event on Saturday night at Slim's. Festival artist peform onstage, there is catered food and beverages provided. However, capacity is limited by the size of the club, and we can only extend invitations to working staff and the festival performers. If you are traveling with your spouse, additional requests can be made and we will accommodate them to the best of our abilities. Please direct any questions to Sheri Sternberg or Ryan Smith when advancing the show.
Hospitality � There is artist catering on site located behind the Banjo stage (click here for site map). Lunch & a hot dinner will be provided on Friday , Saturday & Sunday. Meal tickets are available for performance days from your stage manager . In addition there are provisions at each stage, including beverages, alcohol, & light fare. Due to the scope of the festival we cannot fulfill everyone's specific riders. Please let us know if there are any dietary restrictions or special requests during your show advance with Sheri or Ryan.
